Yesmith is a DEI specialist and Business Strategy professional with broad experience building up and engaging diverse teams in rapidly changing environments. She trains companies and managers on how to build better workplaces and better business by building inclusive work cultures. Her current role combines her experience and background in organizational strategy, and her passion for advancing DEI. Yesmith loves music, tea and books, and invests a lot of her time in her favorite app, Spotify. Her favorite bands are Radiohead and Café Tacvba.
Katja is the Founder of Inklusiiv, leading the team and organization with a background in the startup and tech industry. Katja holds a MSc in Business from Aalto University. When it comes to DEI expertise, Katja has been working with training growth companies, venture capital funds and companies in the tech industry to implement DEI strategies and coaching leaders on DEI topics. Katja enjoys reading books and as a former Finnish baseball player, she’s always up to any sports.
COO, DEI Consultant
Julia is the COO and a DEI Consultant at Inklusiiv. She is a professional in business operations, modern human resource management and recruitment with extensive experience in the startup and technology industry. Prior to joining Inklusiiv, Julia was Global HR Operations Lead and EMEA HR Business Partner at Smartly.io and Chief People Officer at Slush. Julia holds a Master’s Degree from Aalto University School of Business and has also studied law at University of Helsinki. Julia loves sports and she’s very passionate about downhill skiing - she enjoys finding the steepest slopes in Finland and abroad.
Communications and Marketing Manager
Iida is in charge of Member communications as well as Inklusiiv’s external comms and marketing activities. Before joining the Inklusiiv team, Iida worked as a communications consultant at Pohjoisranta BCW where she was responsible for comms and insight projects. She has studied Politics and holds a Master's degree in International Relations. Iida’s favourite things to do are yoga, watching documentaries and exploring the world with her one-year-old son.
Head of Events & Projects
Bikash is the Head of Project & Events at Inklusiiv. His responsibilities revolve around planning & executing various projects and events on different DEI themes in collaboration with individuals, Inklusiiv supporting members and other external parties. He is also keen on understanding the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in organisations, and how they are incorporated in organisations' mission, strategies and practices to achieve a thriving and efficient business model. Prior to Inklusiiv, he has had various operational roles in startup events Slush and Arctic15. He holds a Master's degree in social sciences from University of Lapland. During his free time, he loves spending time outdoors in nature.
Marketing & Community Manager for Women in Tech Finland
Anni is in charge of all the marketing and community coordination of Women in Tech Finland. She holds a MSc degree in Digital marketing & Corporate communication, and has previous marcomms experience within the tech field. With a background in competitive sports, equity and inclusion are deep-rooted values for Anni - and she is always up for a sports-related challenge!
Cristian is a culture and business-oriented HR management professional with extensive experience in technology and marketing communications. He trains organizations on themes related to diversity and inclusion.
Cristian has previously worked in Head of HR and other specific HR positions at software company Microsoft and marketing maven Hasan & Partners Group and the role of COO in the brand agency MacWell Creative. Cristian holds a Master’s degree from the University of Liverpool School of Economics. Cristian is passionate about marketing, sports, music, and nature, not to mention dogs.
Maija is a DEI specialist and certified Change Manager specialising in sustainable culture change and fostering sense of belonging in workplace communities. She supports companies to grow their understanding of DEI topics, build DEI strategies and create effective action plans focused on inclusive practice in functional areas including Leadership, Recruiting and Culture and Communications.
Before joining Inklusiiv Maija lived in the UK and led complex culture change projects in the higher education sector. She has extensive experience of delivering DEI projects to address causes of workplace structural inequality, and specialises in identifying ways to tackle race-based inequalities. Maija holds a Master’s Degree from King’s College London.
